General Information
The District provides a shared ride curb to curb transportation
service to eligible passengers. We do not provide assistance over
the threshold of any facility. Drivers are not permitted to leave
the bus to retrieve or return clients to the doorway. Clients must
be able to board/unboard the bus without the driver's assistance,
otherwise a PCA is required. Pick up time at origin will be between
15 and 55 minutes prior to appointment time at destination within
the same county. Return trips will be provided between 15 and 55
minutes after the dispatch office has received notification of
desired pick up or scheduled return. Inter county trips vary based
on distance and scheduling loads. Cancellations must be received at
least one (1) hour prior to appointment time. If a customer is a no
show at the pick up appointment, the return trip will automatically
be canceled unless we hear from you. Customers who do not notify the
dispatch office of their cancellation(s) will be charged the fare. Three
(3) no shows in a 45-day period will result in a 30-day suspension
from riding the bus. To receive a copy of our Paratransit/Demand &
Response Rider Guide call 979-778-0607 or 1-800-272-0039, or you may
download a copy from the bottom of this page.
All buses are
ADA wheelchair accessible. We cannot provide transportation if the
combined weight of the customer and the mobility aid exceeds 600
pounds.
ADA Paratransit

otherwise a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) is required. Drivers are
not permitted to leave the bus to retrieve or return clients to the
doorway. Trips may be made for any purpose. A 24-hour advance
notice is normally required. Appointments may be made up to seven
days in advance.
